We're looking for
The Ultimate Senior Softball Player
in the U.S.!
All male senior softball players in the country are invited to register with us for a shot at being in the movie!
(Or feel free to nominate someone who you think is the ultimate senior softball player.) We are accepting applications
from September 1st through December 1st, 2006. The person selected as The Ultimate Senior Softball Player will receive
a role in the movie and will be paid according to SAG/Aftra contract regulations.
All you need to do is download an application from this site and mail it to us with your application fee of $25.
The application will be available beginning September 1st. (It will consist of submitting a photo and a 25 words or less
essay as to why you - or the person you are nominating - should be selected as the USSP and have a role in the movie.)
You may register online with Paypal or via mail with a check.
The top 10 applicants will be selected by a panel of judges from the original Buzzard's senior softball team.
These 10 players will be posted on this website January 10th and the country will have 10 days to vote for who they think
is The Ultimate Senior Softball Player.
The winner will be announced on January 31st, 2007. The winner is responsible for their own travel and lodging
to Phoenix, Arizona. The anticipated film dates are late February, 2007. In the event the winner is not available
for the film, a runner-up candidate will be selected.
